2009 Chrysler Aspen

2009 Chrysler Aspen Overview
Introduction

The Aspen is Chrysler's full-size sport utility vehicle. The Aspen shares the platform with the Dodge Durango.

The Aspens' suspension is the same independent, double-wishbone front and non-independent solid-axle rear design found on the Durango. The woodgrain/metal-look interior is available with either cloth or leather seats. Available in one trim, Limited, the Aspen comes with a 303-hp 4.7-liter V8 or a 335-hp 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine and either rear- or all-wheel drive. Both engines are mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and the Hemi V8 includes the Multi-displacement System (MDS) which is capable of shutting down 4 cylinders to conserve fuel.

New for 2009, the Aspen includes the MyGIG Multimedia system.

2009 Chrysler 300

2009 Chrysler 300 Overview
Introduction

The Chrysler 300 stands out with bold, imposing styling reminiscent of an art deco look of years past. Its strong lines give off a sense of power and refined stature.

The 300 is available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. An optional long wheelbase rear-wheel drive model is available that allows for a rear seat area much larger than the standard car. A 178-hp 2.7-liter V6 or a 250-hp 3.5-liter V6 powers the 300. Both the long wheelbase and the four-wheel drive versions come only with the V6 engine. Anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control are optional on the LX trim, but standard on the Touring and Limited trims.

2008 Chrysler 300C

The Chrysler 300C is the performance version of the Chrysler 300, only with the addition of a standard Hemi V8. Available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Chrysler's 340hp 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine powers the 300C Hemi and all-wheel drive Base models through a five-speed automatic transmission. The engine is intelligently able to shut down select cylinders which conserves gas. Standard features such as, SmartBeam headlamps, four-wheel-disc antilock brakes, traction control and an electronic stability control system enhance safety. A 425hp 6.1-liter Hemi V8 powers the SRT8.

The Chrysler 300C received a minor external redesign for 2008.
